These neck cooling ties are custom made from bandannas. With Buttonhole fastening,
8 super porous hydro gel chambers for maximum surface area contact to the skin and air.
Each chamber has a precision amount of hydro gel polymer, so they don't over swell.
Your neck size is measured at the lowest part of your neck. The tie loses 2 inches in length due to the swelling of the hydro gel chambers after being fully hydrated. An additional inch is needed
to accommodate the buttonhole fastening. So, a 15.5 inch tie has a hydro gel chamber length
totaling 18.8 inches, 2 inches for the swelling, plus 1 inch for the buttonhole fastening.
Ties typically have 7' to 9" tails. If you shop around, you will see that no one makes the cool ties from pure bandanna fabric (this is important).The Ties need to be in your neck size, just put the end of the tie through the buttonhole at the end of the chambers and you don't have to tie the tie, but you still can. This is very important, if they don't fit right, they don't work right.
The tie help keep you cool when it's hot outside, but unknown to most users these ties work best when the air is cool and you are heating up on the inside,
(working , exercising, stressing out on the computer or even having fever or headaches )
The type of fabric is very important!! Bandanna fabric is so porous that it allows maximum
release of moisture. That is why I use only pure bandannas, no other fabric works as well.
